From Aoi Art: What is wonderful about this work is that Shinogi-ji does not have Hi and you can often appreciate Shinogi-ji of the Kamakura period. In the training method of the Kamakura period, Masame is not so noticeable in Shinogoji . If it has Masame hada , it may be a work of the Muromachi period. This sword is Oosuriage nakago and with Sori and long Kissaki which is typical Late Kamakura to Nanbokucho period like Aoe style. Sometimes Aoe and Komihara is difficult to decide because Aoe and Komihara are neighbor countries.
