This sword belongs to regular ranking.
The blade needs polish

Habaki: Copper single Habaki.
Blade length : 61.2cm or 24.09inches.
Sori : 2.3cm or 0.9 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 2.82cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.8cm or 0.7 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.70 inches.
The weight of the sword 675 grams.

Era: Edo period
Shape: Short Katana with regular width and thickness. Sori is deep and Kissaki is a longer, beautiful sword.
Jigane: Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached Hadame is visible clearly.
Hamon: Round Niedeki Gunome-Midare with Ashi. Boshi is round in shape

Special feature: The sword seems like was made in the Muromachi period, but the Nakago is Ubu and from the condition of Jigane, it was made in the Edo period.

Koshirae: Empire of Japan army’s Koshirae.
