This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking.
Habaki:　Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 39.1cm or 15.39 inches.
Sori :1 1.cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi: 3.0cm or 1.18 inches.
Kasane :0.95 cm or 0.37 inches.
The weight of the sword 795 grams.
Era Late Edo period.
Shape : both sides of the blade has hamon which is called Moroha. It is very rare item.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Hada is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie Deki, CHoji Midare. Boshi is small round shape and Yakisage style.

Special feature: First-generation Munetsugu was born at Mutsu Shirakawa province as a son of Koyama Munehira. His name was Soubei.
He was working for Matudaira Daimyo family as a sword making Samurai.
He moved to Kuwana province with his master and then he moved to Edo Tenpo 2 year.At that time he was a well-known swordsmith and many Samurai asked to make his swords. His sword is well known as well cut and we can see many swords mentioned Saidanmei and also possession name on the tang of the blade.
Generally speaking the quality of Munetsuga is one of the top swordsmiths in the late Edo period and without any faults among his swords.

Koshirae: 　Naginata Koshirae.

From Aoi Art: This blade is Mumei(unsigned). It is a very rare Naginata of Koyama Munetsugu.
Even more interesting is the Moroba style. It is very precious.
Koyama Munetsugu was a very strict sword smith, it is said that he had the stubbornness of not putting signature on the sword that he was not satisfied with.
According to a book, when Kiyomaro moved to Munetsugu’s neighborhood, Kiyomaro didn’t come to say hello. So Mumetsugu was angry and sent a challenge letter to him.
We think that he wasn’t completely satisfied with this Naginata, so he did not engraved his signature.
