This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Shakudo single habaki.
Blade length: 54.09 cm or 21.29 inches.
Sori :1.212cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi: 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.37cm or 0.93 inches.
Kasane : 0.61cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 455 grams.
Era: Early Nanbokucho period.
Shape: Wide and thick O-suriage Mumei sword.
Bo-hi is engraved on both side.
Jigane: Itame-Hada well grained.
Jinie attached and Chikei appeared
Hamon :Niedeki, deep Nioikuchi round shape Gunome-Midare and Togari-Gunome-
Midare mixed. Sunagashi and Kinsuji worked.

Special feature: It is the accepted view that Kaneuji, one of a ten brilliant
pupils of Masamune was the founder of Naoe-Shizu school.
Kaneuji worked at Shizu in Mino province. He and his
followers moved to Naoe in the Nambokucho period.
Representative swordsmiths were Kaneuji, Kanetsugu,
Kanetomo and Kanenobu but their signed pieces are
extremely rare.

From Aoi Art: This blade is active Gunome Midare with thick nioikuchi and active
Hataraki in Ha. Kissaki Hamon is a marvelous active Hamon with Ginsuji.
I like this active temper line in KKissaki. Please check the Hamon carefully.
