This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Brass single habaki.
Blade length: 54.7 cm or 21.53 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.15cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.25cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.73cm or 0.28 inches.
The weight of the sword 570 grams.
Era: Edo period around Enpo era.
Shape: Width slightly wide and thick Wakizashi with deep Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Yamashiro Jigane, Ko Itame Hada well grained.
The Hada is beautiful.
Shinogi-Ji: Ko Itame Hada and Mokume Hada mixed.
Hamon: From Hamashi is Suguha Hamon and then Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
Boshi is Notare and small rounded shape.

Special feature: Izumi Kami Rai Kinmichi was the 3rd generation sword smith.
He receied Izumi Kami in the Enpo era. His name is Kinshiro Hisamichi.

Koshirae :
Saya : Dark brown Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape Shibuichi Tsuba, battle scene is engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, Samurai is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Izumi Kami Rai Kinmichi was a swordsmith of Yamashiro province. Especially, the Jigane is good. And the Gunome Midare Hamon is excellent.
