Habaki : Copper single.

Blade length : 33.7cm or 13.2 inches.
Sori :0.9cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 365 grams.
Era : End of Edo period.
Shape : Wakizashi but the shape looks like Naginata. Hi is engraved.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Jihada.
Hamon : Niedeki-Gunome-Midare and Togari-Gunome mixed.

Special feature: There are some sword smiths named Aizu Ju Michitatsu
So it is difficult to say which Michitatsu is this, but most
of Aizu, swordsmiths are famous and popular and e
preferred from sword collectors.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Hamidashi style iron Tsuba. Autumn flowers and insects are engraved with gold
color.
Fuchikashira: Copperplate. chrysanthemum is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Kawari-nuri style Saya.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. 3 family crests are engraved with gold color.
