The blade was polished.
Habaki: copper single habaki.
Blade length :68.6 cm or 27.0 inches.
Sori :2,8 cm or 1.10inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi: 3,63 cm or 1.42inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 940 grams.
Era: Late Edo period.

Shape: This blade is very wide and thick. Sori is deep and Kissaki is longer.
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attached Muji style.
Hamon :Nie deki Hitatsura Hamon.

Special feature: The blade is very wide and polished perfectly.
There is some Kizu that look like Kinsuji, but please note this is Kizu, not Kinsuji.

From Aoi Art: Ryokai Naoyoshi is one of the famous swordsmiths who worked around the Muromachi period, but the condition of this sword seems just made about 100-200 years ago. So we do not guarantee the authenticity of this sword.
However, the Hamon is beautiful and the shape is rare. We can recommend this sword.
