After his brother died, he taught sword training to Masanori Akamatsu, who was the owner of the castle, who gave him Katsumitsu, the lieutenant Jirozaemon, and worked hard to train him.

Koshirae: Koshirae is a shape of a fan.

From Aoi Art: The Tanto probably was the Tanto that has been in the feudal lord family. Even though the small size, the Tanto is engraved Zokumyo(Sakyo sin Munemitsu) and go with a unusual fan-shaped Koshirae.
The Koshirae is in a lacquer box, Emperor Go-Daigo, and the gorgeous gold Sakie are beautifully painted in black dew on the surface.
The wooden box that holds the lacquer box has a book written in the 3rd year of the Edo period Bunka era.
It is a hanging scroll that describes the history of the Tanto that has been used by the daimyo family for a long time.
This work is a rare work that has existed in Osaka or Kyoto for a long time, and it can be said that it is a rare work that contains a Tanto in the shape of a folding fan. The text that seems to be the history of this Tanto is described in the 3rd year of Bunka, and the stunning dagger box has a lacquer work of a folding fan. It is probable that he put a Tanto in the fan and carried it quietly in the sudden assault.
We highly recommend this masterpiece.
