The blade was polished.
Sayagaki(Dr. Kanzan): Ryokai Tadashi Ubu Mumei nari Hacho 8 Sun 7 Bu Amari Arishi. Showa 51 nen Hinoe Tsu Haru Kanzanshi.
Habaki: Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length: 26.7cm or 10.5 inches.

Width at the hamachi: 2、22cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.53cm or 0.20 inches.
The weight of the sword 185 grams.
Era: Muromachi period Bunmei era.
Shape: Sharp Kanmuri-Otoshi styke tanto
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached and Utsuri appeared.
Hamon: Cleared Niedeki-Suguha. Hamon turns back sharply.
Special feature: NBTHK says this is Ryokai Ie-Yoshi, who was a Yamashiro swordsmith and worked at Buzen.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: Mokko style iron Tsuba. The flower pattern is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate, person , and flower are engraved.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya with black pattern.
Menuki: Silverplate. Dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Suaka plate. wave is engraved with gold color.
From Aoi Art: Kanmuri-Otoshi style sword which was made around Bunmei era is very rare. This is an old sword so the Jigane was worn out but it still beautiful and perfect for appreciation.
It also has NBTHK Hozon paper and Koshu TOkubetsu Kicho paper.
