Width at the Kissaki : 2.9 cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.755 cm or inches.
The weight of the sword 485 grams.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape: Yamato Kami Yasusada Naginata is an unusual rare item.
I saw the first time to see the Naginata.
Jigane: Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach and visible to see the texture well.
Hamon: From the Hamachi, suguha and Notare with rather deep nioikuchi and then Notare and gunome midare double hamon.
Bo-shi is hakikate style(brush up).

Special feature: Yamato (No) Kami Yasusada was a pupil of the First generation Yasutsugu of Echizen province.
The First Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu permitted Yasutsugu the First using hollyhock crest and the character Yasu.
Yasusada mainly forged swords at Edo and their collaboration survives.

From Aoi Art: Yamato Kami Yasusada made a few Naginata and rear items. The Jigane is Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach and Hamon is bright and clear and also Tobiyaki looks like Utsuri. Along with the Hamon, a long Kinsuji work wild feeling active Hamon.
