Era : Muromachi period Shocho era.
Shape: The Yari was cut shortened to use as Ken. Left the signature Muramasa.
Characters and Gomahashi are engraved.
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon:Nie deki round shape Gunome Midare.

Special Feature: Muramasa was born and raised in Ise, Kuwana province. He’s the son
of Nosyu Akasaka Sahei Kanemura.
His swords, especially in terms of Hamon and Jigane, have a lot in common with Heianjo
Nagayoshi. They must be had a close relationship.
Muramasa’s swords are known for the high cutting ability and regarded as cursed
swords because the grandfather of Tokugawa Ieyasu, Kiyoyasu, and his father Hirotada was killed
by Muramasa’s sword. When Ieyasu become the head of the Tokugawa family, his first son Nobuyasu also was killed by a Muramasa sword.
For these reasons, the Tokugawa family disliked Muramasa swords and many Daimyo families erased or altered the signature of
their Muramasa swords.
