Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.394inches.

Width at the hamachi: 3.06cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.7 cm or 1.063 inches.
Kasane :0.7 cm or 0.276inches.
The weight of the sword 485 grams.
Era : Edo period Genroku era.
Shape: The blade is wide and thick
with bo-hi and Sohei on both sides of the blade.
Jigane: Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful Yamashiro Jigane.
Hamon: From Hamachi, Suguha Hamon and then Nisseki rather deep
nioikuchi gnome Midare with many Ashi and Sunagashi, Kinsuji.
Bo-shi is a typical missing bo-shi Mansaku style.
Special feature: O-mi Kami Minamoto Hisamichi was called Hori Rokubei Jyo
who was one of 5 Kyo Swordsmiths and passed away at Shotoku’s first year age 85.
From Aoi Art: This work is the first generation of Omi Kami Minamoto Hisamichi,
and it is wide and thick, with deep warpage,(sori) and a Bo-hi and Sohei on both sides of
the blade but it is rubbed up(Suriage) by several centimeters.
The Hamon is excellent deep nioikuchi gnome Midare up and down and almost reach to
the Shinogoji,
Bo-shi is typical Mansaku style Mishina bo-shi.
