This blade belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 70.0 cm or 27.55 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.21　cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.01 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.70 cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword: 665 grams.
Era : War time(1938)
Shape : It is regular size width and thickness with many remaining of ububa.
There is deep sori. It is healthy katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
It is beautiful jitetsu that reminds of mountain castle.
Hamon : Konie base suguha with nezumi ashi and koashi attached. Boushi is round ended.

Special feature : Yasushige, his real name Abe Shigeo, is from Yamagata prefecture.
He has been at the back of Yasumitsu. At Showa 14th year October 4th he has received the name of Yasushige.
At the Army Gunto Exhibition, he has won the President Award and has made any imerial katana and gusto.
Yasukuni blade was made in Yasukuni shrine for the purpose to make fine quality blades.
Yasushige imade katanas that are suguha base.
Many of them has been imitating the Rai Kunitoshi blade.
All are made in fine quality.
