This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.

Mikasa is modern swordsmiths who was decided as the top ranking. They can exhibit their sword in NBTHK and many other organization’s exhibitions without any inspection.

The blade was polished by one of the best polishers.
Habaki: Gold foiled and silver double Habaki.
Blade length: 76.7cm or 30.1 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.

Width at the hamachi: 3.31 cm or 1.30 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.77cm or 0.30 inches.

Era: Modern times.
Shape: The blade is very wide, thick with deep Sori, and engraved Bo-hi on both sides of the blade very healthy blade.
Jigane: Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attach beautifully.
Hamon: Konie Deki Choji Midare and Jyuka Choji Midare mixed with Ashi and yo, Sunagashi, and Kinsuji.

Special feature: Yoshindo was born at Showa 19th and he is 76 years old at this moment. His grandfather is Yoshihara Kuniie who was a famous swordsmith during WW2.
He has a sword workshop in the USA. He made some swords there and he was decided as an honorary citizen at Texas Dallas because Metropolitan Museum and Boston Museum purchased his swords.
He also published some sword books in English.
This swordsmith is famous in Japan and also abroad
We strongly recommend this masterpiece which was made with Bizen Fukuoka Ichimonji style.
