Explanation: This Tanto was made by Gassan Sadakatsu on lucky day of 1937.

Special feature: It is a very rare masterpiece. Kogarasu Maru style sword which made by Gassan Sadakatsu. Gassan Sadakatsu (Eitaro Tsukiyama) was worked from the Taisho era to the early Showa era. He is one of the master craftsmen representing a Japanese swordsmith. Born in 1869 (Meiji 2). The son of the first Gassan Sadayoshi.
He produced many swords for the imperial family and swords dedicated to the shrine Ise Jingu.

father.
