The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 40.2cm or inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.06 cm or inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.35cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.37 cm or inches.
The weight of the sword 195 grams.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : Slightly slender Wakizashi. The blade looks for children’s celebration.
But the Koshirae is Swordstick(cane).
Jigane : Ko Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach. Hadadatsu.
The Jigane is clear.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon. Boshi is large round style.

Special feature: Ietsugu was mainly in Kashu, in Nagato, Izumo, and Yamashiro,
there are same name swordsmith was in thoese place.
From the work, the blade was made by Kaga province’s Ietsugu.
Unfortuanetly we have never seen this kind of signature.
