This sword belongs to Jyo jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper double Habakki
Blade length: 71.6 cm or 28.1 inches.
Sori : 1.6cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.29cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.32cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.82cm or 0.32 inches.
The weight of the sword 685 grams.
Era: Modern time 1997
Shape: Wide and thick blade with Bo-hi engraved on both sides. Sori is deep and Kissaki
is longer.
Jigane: Itame-Hada and Masame-Hada mixed. Chikei appear.
Hamon: Nie-deki, Gunome-Midare with Ashi. Sunagshi and Kinsuji worked. Boshi is
round shape.
Special feature: Chikugo Ju Yasumitsu’s real name is Komiya Akimitsu. His father is
Komiya Shiro Kunimitsu and one of the swordsmiths worked during the war. After war,
Kunimitsu take over his job to his sons, Kunitada(1st son), Yasumitsu(2nd son),
Kunimitsu(3rd son)

the shape is perfect and also it
has only 685grams. Iai sword needs to be long but if it is heavy,
it may make you become tenosynovitis. This sword is long but light,
so it very good to use for Iai.
