This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Silver foiled copper single Habaki
Blade length: 78.4cm or 30.8 inches.
Sori : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi: 3.45cm or 1.35 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.48cm or 0.97 inches.
Kasane : 0.93cm or 0.36 inches.
The weight of the sword 1,200 grams.
Era : End of Edo period
Shape: Wide and thick blade, the weight is 1200g.
Shallow Sori and longer Kissaki. Bo-hi is engraved on both side.
Jigane: Koitame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Jigane
Hamon :Niedekei Suguha will deep Nioikuchi and a lot of Ko-Ashi. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature: Kanetoshi usually makes very big sword which called Kin-ou-to, this kind of sword usually has 2 Mekugi hole
from when the sword was made. From the Hamon, we can
see that this sword was made very carefully. We think the
Habaki was a copper plate when it was made but now it
was wrapped by silver.

From Aoi Art: At the end of the Edo period In Japan, inland war occurred
between Royal side(kino) and Shogunate side(Sabaku)
At that period this kind of sword was welcomed because the blade is very strong.
