This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 18.2 cm or 7.17 inches.
Sori :0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.13cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 115 grams.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Small size Chounsai Tsunatoshi Tanto.
It is very rare. Tsunatoshi　rarely makes Tanto.
Jigane : Ko Iteme Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon :　Nie Deki, Suguha. There are Ko Ashi.
Boshi is round shape with thick Nioikuchi.

Special feature:Katou Chousai Tsunatoshi is the third son of Katou Izuminokami Kunihide.
He worked as a smith in Uesugi family, the owner of Dewa Yonezawa domain.
Katou Tsunayoshi Katou Tsunahide are his real brother.
Both has studied douranba hamon and Bizenden
by Suishinshi Masahide in Edo.
Tsunahide leaves number of douranba pieces yet those are rather stern pieces
and valued rather low quality compared with Masahide.
Some of his good pieces are Bizenden with gonome midair ha.
He has many students like koyama Munetsugu,
Takahashi Naganobu and Seryuken Moritoshi and so on.
Especially he liked Seryuken Moritoshi personally.
His second generation Tsunatoshi went Suo province to study
from Seryuken Moritoshi .
Both Tsunatoshi and Koyama munetsugu’s hamon is very similar.
Some differences are mentioned following.
Koyama Munetsugu’s boshi is midarekomi style，
on the other hand Tsunatoshi’s Gunome midair divided 2 prices clover style.
