The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 19.7cm or 7.75 inches.

Width at the hamachi :2,42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane :0,71 cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword 155 grams.
Era : End of Edo period to early Meiji period.1869 February.
Shape : Wide and thick Tanto like Yoroi-Doshi.
Jigane :Ko-Itame-Hada well grained with soft Jinie
Hamon :Ko-Niedeki Gunome Midare.

Special feature: Tanemitsu is student of Naotane and using one of his
character. Sword style is same as his master and using
Reisho calligraphic style to engrave his name. He must be
got in good with Naotane
Koshirae : Simple red Saya with black Tsuka.
From Aoi Art: Tanemitsu is Taike Naotane’s student and has very good skills so he was
approved to use same character as Naotane. He used to called Shinkei Tanemitsu and
use Reisho calligraphic style to engrave his name like Naotane.
