Signature: Rai Kuniharu (Owari, Shotoku)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki: Copper double Habaki.
Blade length: 73.1 cm or 28.7 inches.
Sori : 1.0cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.2cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.3cm or 0.9 inches.
Kasane : 0.8cm or 0.31inches.
The weight of the sword 875 grams.
Era : Edo period, Shotoku era 1711
Shape: Wide and thick, shallow Sori and Chu-Kissaki.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Jigane.
Hamon: Niedeki Gunome-Midare. Choji Midare and Ashi mixed. Sunagashi and Kinsuji worked. Boshi is Notare round shape.

Special feature: Rai Kuniharu is an Owari swordsmith and also works at Edo.
He is not so famous but he is one of Rai swordsmiths. He is
from Mino but moved to Edo and was became a student of
Korekazu and study to make Ichimonji-Utsushi from him.
The Hamon of this sword looks like Nishioki Kohei.
Unfortunately, it does not has Utsuri but we strongly
recommend you the master price of Rai Kuniharu.
