The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 75.3 cm or 29.64 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword: 715 grams.
Era : Late Muromachi period
Shape : Long blade, regular width and thickness Katana with small Sori.
Jigane : Itame Hada and Mokume Hada well grained with Jinie attach. visible to see the texture.
Shinogi-Ji: same as Jitetsu.
Hamon : Nie Deki, from Hamachi is Suguha and then Gunome Midare and Togari Gunome Midare. In the Ha, there are fine Sunagashi and Kinsuji along the Hamon.
Boshi is Midarekomi, Togari, and Hakikake style with Kinsuji.

Special feature: Kaneiwa was working in Mino province in late Muromachi period. This blade was made in the late Muromachi period. It was called Sue Seki. Many swords were produced in Mino province. You can see well the texture. It looks old at first glance, but it is not so old. In the Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji. The Sayagaki is just for reference purposes.
We recommend this long Katana for the Iai practice and also appreciation.
