This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
To-ko Jiten:Shinto,Jyo saku ranking:ryo wazamono cutting test ranking: Echizen.
The blade was polished. Jyo Jyo polish was done.
Habaki : Gold foiled　double Habaki.
Blade length : 69.4 cm or 27.323inches.
Sori :2,12cm or 0,83inches.

Width at the hamachi: 2.9cm or 1.142inches.
Width at the Kissaki 2.27 cm or 0.894inches.
The weight of the sword 715 grams.
Era : Edo period Genna era. 1615.
Shape: The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and
Jigane: longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Hamon: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice koto style jiggle.
Bo-shi: round style with Hakikake style .

Special feature:The first generation Masanori is said that
he was descendant of Sanjyo Yoshinori Yamashiro kuni.
He lived Tango Miyatu home land and learned
from his father Norimitsu and moved to Kyoto
and also moved to Echizen 75000 goku Hideyasu Matsudaira under
the castle and became a sword craftsman of the first son
of the Daimyo Hideyasu. after that he moved to Echizen Fukui
with his master. At that period, first-generation Yasutsugu
and Masanori made many swords.
His sword is very similar to first-generation Yasutsugu.

Koshirae :
Saya: Very beautiful Saya which is Assembled black ishime-ji and upper the part is made by a shell.
Tsuba:Kiku flower design is engraved openwork. Middle Edo period.
Menuki: On the Shakudo Nanako plate, kiku flowers are engraved with gold
color.
Menuki:Men are engraved highly with gold color.

From Aoi Art: This sword is first-generation Yamato Daijyo Fujiwara
Masanori who was working at Keicho to Genna.
We call Keicho Shinto that is rather wide, with deep sori and

longer kissaki nice looking shape.Probably Masanori communicated
with Yasutsugu because the Jigane is very similar which was used
Nanbantetsu (holland iron) The Jigane is blackish.
