This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.

Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 62.8 cm or 24.7 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.85cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.86cm or 0.73 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 495 grams.
Era: Muromachi period, Ou-nin era. 1467
Shape: Regular width and thickness. Bo-hi is engraved on both sides.
Jigane: Ko-itame-hada and Ko-Mokume-hada mixed. Jinie attached and Shirake Utsuri appear.
Hamon: Ko-Niedeki Ko-Gunomemidare and Ko-Togari-Gunome mixed. Midare-komi style and Kissaki is turn back sharply.
special feature: Mori-ie was a sword smith worked in 1467 (550 years ago).
It was wartime and also the period people change the battle style. Most feudal lords stoped fight on horseback and became to fight above ground. So Katana has also changed the style and the average length became shorter and lighter. This style of sword called Katate-Uchi.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Round thin Tosho Tsuba with big openwork. We think it was made at the Muromachi period
Fuchikashira: Iron plate, horses are engraved.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya. It is very old so the color becoming red color
Menuki: Shakudo plate, a dragon is engraved.

From Aoi Art: This is a nice old sword made by Mori-ie of Hiratakada. This sword was made 550 years ago but Mei is clear, Namasa still in good condition and it has only 1 Mekugi. Koshirae is also good. We recommend this sword.
