The blade was polished.
Habaki: silver and gold color double Habaki.
Blade length: 44.4 cm or 17.4 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.9 cm or 0.768 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.252 inches.
The weight of the sword 360 grams.
Era: Edo period around Genroku
Shape: Regular width and Kasane. Deep Sori and longer Kissaki
Jigane: Ko-itame-hada well grained, Jinie attached beautiful Hada.
Hamon: Ko-Gunome Midare and Notare mixed. Sunagashi and Kinsuji worked.
Special feature: From the Masame of Nagago, we think this is Mino sword.
Hirokane who was live in Settsu province is a very famous sword smith but this is a different person. But we think this sword is genuine.
There is a small Kizu around 15cm from Hamachi of
frontside.

Tsuba: Mokko iron Tsuba. Bamboo and leaf are engraved. Has Mei as Bushu Ju Masakata. He usually engraves plants on his fittings.
Menuki: On the shibuichi plate, the Shishi dog is engraved with gold color
Fuchikashira: On the shibuichi plate, the Shishi dog is engraved
From Aoi Art: This Hirokane of Mino is Ko-Gunome-midare, has some flaw but beautiful polish, and used high-quality iron. Tsuba and
Fuchikashira has Mei. Menuki is also good. We recommend this sword for you.
