Special feature: Omi Kami Fujiwara Tsuguhira was a swordsmith of Echizen province. He studied under Yasutsugu 2nd.
Both moved to Edo and made swords. He was called Fujita Kouemon. He lived Bushu Kanda.　After that Tsuguhira continued until 6 generation. This Tsuguhira 2nd was made Oshigata of the Tokugawa Shogunate of the 8th Shogun Yoshimune. The work is excellent.

From Aoi Art: Omi Kami Fujiwara Tsuguhira was a skilful sword maker. Probably, he had an exchage with Edo Hojoji. Because his style is similar to him. This blade has wide Suguha with thick Nioikuchi. There are soft Ashi.

Background of history: In a peaceful era, the demand for swords dropped sharply, and many swordsmiths were worried about going out of business. As a result, swordsmiths have come to work harder to produce better and more ornamental swords in order to survive.
