This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :silver double habaki.
Blade length: 70.6 cm or 27.7 inches.
Sori : 1.82 cm or 0.71 inches.

Width at the hamachi: 3.14cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
The weight of the sword 750 grams.

Era : Edo period, Kan-ei era.
Shape: Wide and thick sword with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Kan-ei sword shape
Jigane: Ko-Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached a beautiful Osaka Jigane.

Special feature: The Mishina School in Kyoto hatched four schools; Kyo-Tamba (No) Kami, Fushimi-Tamba (No) Kami, Osaka-Tamba (No) Kami and Yamato (No) Kami.
The First Yoshimichi was the Third son of Kanemichi in Mino province.
His eldest brother is Iga (No) Kami Kinmichi.
The family moved to Kyoto and was approved Tamba (No) Kami in 1595.
Yoshimichi the First inquired into Soshu-den and invented Sudare-ba hamon.
This tradition also appears well on this work.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Round iron Tachiage-mimi style Tsuba. Flower and family crest are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate. The flower pattern is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Red and black color
Menuki: Shakudo plate Kiku flower is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: This sword is rare Osaka Tanba Yoshimichi 1st.
Sudareba is a very popular Hamon in Osaka and Tanba Yoshimichi famous because of this. There are very long Kinsuji working around Hamachi.
