(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length :　66.5　cm or 26.1inches.
Sori :1.4 cm or 0.5 inches.
Mekugi : 　3 (2 are filled)
Width at the hamachi : 3.09 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17 cm or 0.8 inches.
Kasane : 0.61cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 590 grams.
Era : Nanbokucho period
Shape : O-suriage Mumei, Boshi are engraved on both side. regular width and thickness, deep Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane : Itame-hada, Hada-tachi niedeki attached and Chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki Funomemidare with Notare. Nijuba, Sunagashi, long Kinsuji worked.

Special feature:it is an accepted opinion that Tametsugu was a son of Go
(No) Yoshihiro and learned under Norishige though there is
still room for more research about the difference of chrono-
range among them. Both Yoshihiro and Norishige were
counted among ten brilliant pupils of Masamune. Norishige
created a peculiar texture of jitetsu compounded soft and
hard iron commonly called matsukawa-hada or Norishige-
hada in Japanese.
Tametsugu’s works in Echizen province dated in 1357 and
1369 still remains on the record as oshigata pictures.
An extant inscribed Noshu Ju Fujiwara Tametsugu in 1374
shows he moved to Mino province from 1369 to 1374 .

Koshirae : Tachi Koshirae
Nashi plate, Kiri-mon are engraved with gold color Takamakie.
This Koshirae is not too old but the quality is excelent and we think it was need a high cost to make this Koshirae

From Aoi Art: This sword was judged as Tametsugu but it also look like Sadamune. The working in Hamon is very interesting, difficult to tired.
