The blade was polished.

Habaki :　double gold color habaki.
Blade length:　62.8　cm or 24.72 inches.
Sori:　1.5　cm or 0.59 inches.

Width at the hamachi: 3.12　cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.9 cm or 1.14 inches.
Kasane: 0.75　cm or0.29 inches.
The weight of the sword 840 grams.
Era: During WWII
Shape: Wide and thick, regular Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-hada well grained, Jinie attached.
Hamon: Nie deki, Ko-Gunime-Midare mixed with Sakasa-Choji.
Long Kinsuji work. Boshi is round Takitsume Hakikake style

Special feature: Recently sizable swords made before the end of the Second
World War appeared by chance. Hokke Saburo Nobufusa
made them during wartime. He passed away before cutting
the signature and unfinished swords were left untouched
after his death. The Hokke family kept them in Miyagi pref.
Hokke Saburo Nobufusa who made this sword worked in
prewar days and during the war. He learned at Ichiryusai
Sadatoshi and went under the name of Ryoun.
Nobufusa’s son and grandson succeeded to the
swordsmith name Nobufusa. The present Nobufusa also
participates actively making highly–motivated swords. He
has designated an intangible cultural assets of Miyagi pref.
He is good at making traditional Masame-hada of the
Yamato School called Hosho-utsushi. The Nobuhusas are
highly admired for generations from the Namboku-cho
period until today.

Tsuba : Mokko iron Tsuba. Kikko-Mon of Nobuei family crest is engraved.
Menuki : On Shakudo plate. Kiku flower is engraved with gold color
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate. Rice is engraved with gold color.
