Special feature::The Miyaguchi Yasuhiro was born at Shizuoka prefecture 11th of Meiji
30th.
At 8th year of Syowa, Army Minister Araki presented the name Miyaguchi Yasuhiro to
him. His grandfather is well-known sword smith Miyaguchi Ikkansai Shigetoshi and his
son is the Miyaguchi Ikkansai Masatoshi.
Masahiro is a son of Masatoshi.
Yasuhiro was working to make Yasukuni shrine swords for just only 3 years.
From Aoi Art: Yasukuni sword smiths usually make Katana and Yasuhiro just work 3
years so this sword is very rare. We think this was the order by the general. We also think it
was made with other army fittings but now we have only the Tanto. Jinie attached
beautifully and Jigane is clear, Homon is Suguha. Also there is Utsuri, which is rare to
see on Yasukuni blade. We strongly recommend this rare sword.
