Era: Around the Shouoh era, the Kamakura period
Shape: Osuriage Mumei. The blade is broad and thick. Bohi on the both sides.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained. There are Utsuri. The Jigane is clear.
Hamon: Niedeki mainly Suguha. Koashi comes in a lot. Nioikuchi is deep. Boshi is round and becomes like Otoshi.

Special feature: Osuriage Mumei Katana with elaborate Jigane. Jinie is thick and there are lots of small Chikei. Hamon is mainly Suguha with deep Nioikuchi and Nie. There are also Hotsure and Uchiyoke. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work well.

From Aoi Art: Yamato forging and temples are inseparably linked. Tegai school made swords in front of Todaiji temple. The founder was Kanenaga from the late Kamakura period, around the Shouoh era. This swordsmith school lasted to the Muromachi period. Moreover, Tegai family is one branch of Nara forging, Yamato school. Jigane is beautiful and Suguha has soft Nioikuchi, Uchiyoke, Sunagashi and Kinsuji.　There is some rust. If you want to ask us to polish this sword, the additional polishing cost will be JPY50,000.
