Kasane:0.63cm or 0.24inches.

Shape: The blade is wide and thick , and Ububa is still left. There are Bohi and Soehi on the both sides. It has deep Sori and long Kissaki.
Jigane: Koitamehada is grained well to be elaborate Jigane.
Hamon: Koniedeki Gunomemidare flows like 3 trees, becomes Midare apparently like Kanemoto. Boshi is Midarekomi.

Era: the early Edo period, mid-17th century
Features: He was an Echizen swordsmith active from the Kanbun to Enpo periods, and a descendant of the famous Kanesada from Mino. I don’t know why the signature is “Fujiwara Sada(藤原定)”, not “Fujiwara Kanesada(藤原兼定)”.

Koshirae: Shakudo Nanako plate, turtle is engraved with gold color.
Tsuba: Iron Tsuba. Scenery is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki Shakudo plate. Flowers are engraved.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako plate. Ship and birds are engraved with gold color.
