Shape: The blade is normally broad and normally thick with adequate Sori and longer
Kissaki. Well-shaped.
Jigane: Koitamehada is dense. Elaborate Jigane.
Hamon: Koniedeki Suguha. Nezumiashi comes in and Yo comes in.

Special feature: Well-made work by Fujiwara Yukinaga from the early Shinto era. Next to Takada, there is Kurume first, and then Hizen. There are so many great Bungoto works from the Muromachi period. There are some works that surprise us because they seem like Ichimonji with Utsuri. Unfortunately, we have many Kazuuchimono(mass-produced) works from the late Edo period.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Round-shaped iron Tsuba. Flowers are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate. Flowers are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black Saya with Masame and Aogai Chirashi.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. Flowers are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Fujiwara Yukinagara was from Bungo Takada region. This work was made around 1658. Takada school’s early works have especially beautiful Jigane and Hamon, that seem like Ichimonji works. They started to make mass-produced works as the time goes by.
