Jigane: Koitamehada is grained well with Jinie and Utsuri.
Hamon: Niedeki with deep Nioikuchi, bright and rounded Gunomemidare. Boshi turns back in a small circle deeply. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work in Ha.

Special feature: There are some parts that we cannot read on Nakago. Like we could barely read “Kage”景 right after Bishu Osafune Yoshi. Because of Mekugi hole, the production date could also be read as “Joji 6 Nen 1 Gatsu”. Osafune Yoshikage is
supposed to be a pupil of Kanemitsu, or Nagayoshi. But by recent researches, rather Chikakage or Morikage could be the same school because their styles are really similar and their Mei tend to be engraved reversed.

Box: Boshu Osafune Yoshikage in the Joji era. The length- 9 Sun 6 Bu and half. In winter of Showa 49.

Koshirae:
Fuchi: Gold ishimeji black huji flower is pinted
Kashira: gold painted ishime ji.
Saya: on the red brown color saya, Wisteria flowers are painted by black color.
Menuki: big sized solid gold(not 18 carat) shishi dog is engraved.
Kojiri: on the gold ishimeji, Wisteria flowers are painted by black color.
Kozuka: Kogai: On the shakudo Uogoji, wood’s fruit and a picture of a bird that seems to be a sparrow are carved in high gold and colored.

From Aoi Art:This tanto is a true work of Bisyu Osafune Yoshikage, with the box written by Kunzan in his own handwriting. This is a work by Bisyu Osafune Yoshikage of
Nanbokucyo period Jyoji eras. The box has Kunzan written on it and is specially preserved. The Koshirae is a truly splendid work with a large menuki, a small scale, and a splendid work of Kogai.
