Shape: The blade is normally broad, Mitsumune shaped with Soken engraving on the front, 2-line Hi on the back. Ububa is left in good condition.
Jigane: Koitamehada is grained well and dense.
Hamon: Gunomemidare becomes Midare in Suguha mood with lots of Koashi.

Special feature: Kawachi Kunihira, Mukansa swordsmith, won Special Prize. This swordsmith is ranked as the highest level. In Showa 47, he graduated Kansai University and learned mainly Shoshuden from Miyairi Yukihira. In 1984, he learned Kobizen from Sumitani Masamine. In 1988, he was designated as Mukansa swordsmith, and as an intangible cultural property of Nara prefecture.

From Aoi Art: A masterpiece made in August of Heisei 1 by Kunihira. The blade has Ububa left and Hamon in good condition. This work traces Koto and Jigane is splendid.
