Koshirae :

From Aoi Art:This is a wonderful piece by Gyokushin Saimasakage.He became a disciple of Suzuki Masao, a disciple of Kiyomaro, and worked under Suishinshi Masatsugu.The home country is Etchu Toyama, and the work is made by Gyokushin Seishokage, who is known for being a good swordsmith in Echigo, and is heavy and has no defects. It is a wonderful work. It is a work that is well made and I would definitely recommend it.
1868,June.明治元年(9月4日~), 1868. Aoi Bijyutsu:Gyokushin Saimasakage was quite skilled as a swordsmith and entered the
Meiji era when it was about to begin. Before long, Haito rrei came out and production of Japanese swords was prohibited, and Haitou rei was issued and production of swords was prohibited. Unfortunately for him, it is assumed that he has moved on to other jobs. All that was left was this magnificent work.
