Era: The late Edo period
Shape: The blade is normally broad and thick with Mitsumune shape. The blade is normally shaped.
Jigane: Koitamehada is dense. It is like a plain surface.
Hamon: Niedeki, deep Nioikuchi, Notare. Nioikuchi of Boshi is much deeper and Boshi goes sharper and turns back round.

Special feature: This blade is judged as Aizu Masaoki. The blade is well-made and Hamon is similar to early works by Suishinshi Masahide. Nioikuchi is deep and Jigane is clear and beautiful.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron plate, trees and flowers are engraved.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo-Ishimeji plate, chrysanthemum is engraved.
Saya: Aogai-Chirashi Saya.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. Trees and flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Copper plate, flowers are engraved.

From Aoi Art: This work is Ubu-Mumei, but it is thick with Mitsumune-shape, and Jigane is beautiful and clean. It is very disappointing that it is Mumei. Koshirae is also nicely-made and we truly recommend this one to you.
