Sayagaki: written by Mr.Tanobe
Ecchu Koku Saiki Norishige, O-Suriage Mumei.Slender blade with small Kissaki.
The blade combines the feel of Ko Hoki. The Nie is strong and tangles with it on the Ji and Hada.
There are many Chikei, Yubashiri, Kinsuji, and Sunagashi. The Boshi is flame shape.
This is an excellent example of the characteristics of Soshu Den craftsmanship.

Middle Koto Gentei: Saijyo saku
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
Habaki: Gold foiled single Habaki
The blade is polished.
Blade length: 62.1 cm or 24.44 inches.
Sori:1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi:4
Width at the hamachi:2.47cm or 0.97 inches.
Width at the Kissaki:1.64cm or 0.64 inches.
Kasane:0.49cm or 0.19inches.
Era: Kamakura era, enryaku 1308.
Shape: It is a slightly small work with a deep curvature and a slightly stretched Kissaki, a beautiful work.
Jigane: t is well kneaded and Chikei enters violently and Hadame can be seen clearly
Hamon: Nioikuchi becomes deeply smoked and becomes a deep suguha style in nioikuchi. Sunagasi and Kinsuji work hard
Bo-shi will be Midarekomi first hakikake, Kaen style.

Special feature: Kamakura Goro Said to be Nyudo Masamune’s disciple and Yoshihiro’s parent. (Kokon Meizukushi) and other Edo period books list Norishige as one of the 10 Masamune Tetsu. It seems appropriate to accept the theory that go Kunimitsu is a disciple. Masamune should be seen as Aideshi, Norishige’s style is Sosyu Jyoko, (high ranking Sosyu swordsmiths) most like Masamune, but he expresses changes in boil more than Masamune. It is characterized by the fact that there are many things that have been made, and the texture that is unique to the company, which is called Matsukawa Hada, has a larger pattern.

From Aoi Art: This sword is slightly narrowed, but the middle tip is sharpened to the curvature to create a large-patterned texture. The overflowing gold streaks and sunagshi work well, and it gives the texture a karamu state and an ancient book.
(It is an excellent work of ironwork, and not only hada is one, but it is also good at sunaagashi.) The blade crest of Norishige, like Masamune, seems to be based on Houki Yasutsunaa and Kobizen, and has a kind of Kosyoku old sword style. In this work, Norishige’s characteristics are well reflected in the ground blade, and Shinogi Ji also has the same ita-me and mokume-hada. In particular, this work has a wonderful texture and the gold streaks in the blade are wonderful. The Koshirae is a work produced in the late Edo period. I highly recommend this work.
