The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Shakudo and gold foiiled single habaki.
Blade length :　63.5　cm or 25.0 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi :　1.4
Width at the hamachi : 2.54 cm or 1 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.20 inches.
The weight of the sword: 460 grams.
Era : Nanbokucho period around 1387.
Shape : Rather slim blade wiht large sori, Osuriage Mumei Katana.
There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi on the both side of the blade.
The shape is nice.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There are many Chikei.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Suguha base Hamon with Ko Gunome Midasa.
There are Ko Ashi, Sunagashi, and Kinsuji. Boshi is Midarekomi style.

Special feature: Ecchu Mitsuyuki was a student of the rai kuniyuki and a son of the kuninaga. He was a swordsmith of Echizen provinceand acctive in the end of Nanbokucho period. That school was called as Echizen Rai. There are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji in the Ha. The swordsmiths who is descended from Rai school of Kyo moved to Echizen province. Originally, that swordsmiths made Yamashiro Den blades. And it may have been strongly infuenced by Soshu Den. The blade is Suriage Mumei. The NBTHK judged this blade as Mitsuyuki. The Hamon is Notare and Gunome Midare. The Gunome Midare shape is sharp. The Gunome is a irresular pattern. That is a elemens of Soshu.

Saya :Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, a scene of battle is engraved with openwork.
Menuki : Bird with branch is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Noh mask and tools are engraved with gold, silver and copper color.
