Shape: The blade is Osuriage Mumei(cut shortened) wide and thick with small sori and middle Kissaki healthy blade.
Jigane: Koitamehada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon: Niedeki Gunome Midare A series of about 5 mountains, then Suguha, and 5 Gunome Midares again, repeated about 3 times. Yo entered softly, Tobiyaki worked, and Hamon entered Shinogi.
Boshi: deep Nioikuchi round shape and ahead of the Hamon is small round shape.

Special feature: Ganmaku is a swordsmith group from the Mino school, and is from Ujinobu around Daiei (1521) in the Muromachi period to the Shinto period. The Kiyomizu is a pond on the east side of Tokoji Temple, and it is probable that Ganmakiu sword makers were active in the group around it.

From Aoi Art: Ganmaku swordsmiths made many swords depending on the demands, so they made lots of swords with rough Hada, but it is said that their works are really sharp. Eventually, the periods of war ended and the Edo period came, and they started to make beautiful swords because the demand dropped and the number of swords they made shrank. Jigane became elaborate and beautiful, and Hamon started to contain Tobiyaki or Yaki in Shinogiji: and became very wild.

Background: The war of the Muromachi and Azuchi-Momoyama period ended and temporary peace came to Japan.
