Explanation: The blade was made in Feb1943.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki :silver single habaki.
Blade length : 69.2 cm or 27.24inches.
Sori :1.9cm or 0.75 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.15 cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki :2.33 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane :0.74cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Showa during war time.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick and longer length with long Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon :Konie deki Choji midare hamon and in Hamon, many sunagashi and Kinsuji work. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature: Ikkansai Okimasa was born at Koriyama city in Fukushima prefecture. He moved to Tokyo at Syowa 8 August 24th age 20. and studied under the Ikkansai Shigetsugu.
This blade is very healthy with ububa and long size compare with
other Showa blades.

From Aoi art:Tsukamoto Okimasa is quite well known high ranking sword maker during war time. He got the Nihonto Tokusyo prize, Prime minister’s prize. Navy minister prize, Ministry of Education orize and so on. Unfortunately He passed awaw by tuberculosis At Syowa 35th June 27th. So He left a few swords during his life. Many sword collectors are collecting his swords because if his high reputated blade. The blade is very healthy and good work. We recommend this sword as investment swords in the future.
