Explanation: Miike Shirou Kuniyasu made this sword on lucky day April, 1982.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.

habaki: gold color double Habaki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length: 66.4 cm or 26.14 inches.
Sori: 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.25 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane: 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword: 740 grams
Era: Modern times.
Shape: Regular width and thickness Katana with deep Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada and Masame Hada mixed with Chikei. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with Ko Ashi, Sunagashi, and Kinsuji.
Boshi is Midarekomi and Hakikake style.

Special feature: Kuniyasu engraved his signature as Miike Ju Shiro Kuniyasu saku and his real name is Komiya Kuniyasu. He learned how to make swords from his father Komiya Shiro Kunimitsu, the great sword smith who got the Minister of Education award. Kuniyasu was also such a good swordmaker that he won the Dai Nihonto ToshoKai Kinpai prize.
