This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length: 53.03cm or 20.87inches.
Sori: 0.91cm or 0.35inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.06cm or 1.20inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.22cm or 0.87inches.
Kasane: 0.67cm or 0.26inches.
The weight of the sword: 605grams.
Era: The Kanbun era, the Edo period.
Shape: The blade is broad and thick with adequate Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Itamehada is grained well to be blackish. Jihada is grained well.
Hamon: Mainly Niedeki Suguha with Koashi, and after that Suguha with deep Nioikuchi and becomes Kogunomemidare.Boshi is Notare and Gunome. It turns back round and long.

Special Feature: He is a son of Yasutsugu the 2nd and was originally named
Ubasuke, and later Ichinojo. When the 2nd died, they had problems with
inheritance. To solve the problem, Ubasuke became the 3rd in Edo,
and Shiroemon, his younger brother, became the 3rd Yasutsugu in
Echizen. He was dead in Tenna 3.
From Aoi Art: This work has broadness and thickness, and is really solid.

Nioikuchi becomes deeper from near Monouchi, and becomes rough. It is
heavy and has Nikuoki. Its Jigane is beautiful and Hamon is fierce.
Yasutsugu the 1st was allowed to use Aoi Mon(Althea family crest)
and the letter(康 Yasu) on Nakago when he was succeeded to Higo
Daijo, so after that he renamed himself as “康継Yasutsugu”. He and
his generations had produced lots of works with Aoi Mon and the Mei.
This work is really rough and wild, Shinogiji is Masamehada. The Jigane Is
beautiful. We truly recommend this one to you.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Mokko shape iron Tsuba, shells are engraved with gold, silver, and copper color.
Menuki: wild boar is engraved.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate, wave design is engraved with gold and copper color.
Saya: Drak red color.
Kozuka Kogatana: Shakudo Nanako, wave, and plovers are engraved with gold color.
