Signature : Nobukuni 信国

Chu Koto: Wazamono: Jyo saku: Yamashiro
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
Habaki: gold foiled double habaki
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 42.12cm or 16.58inches.
Sori : 0.83cm or 0.32inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi :2.74 cm or 1.07inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 260 grams
Era: The Ouei era, the Muromachi period.
Shape: Slightly Sakisori. The blade is broad and thick with engravings on the both sides. The condition is really healthy.
Jigane : Koitamehada and Komokumehada are grained well. Elaborate Jigane with light Utsuri.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha with partial active Koashi. Boshi turns back in a small circle.

Special feature: It is obvious that this work is judged as Genzaemon Nobukuni. It is a typical Ouei Nobukuni work with unique Kyo-Mono Suguha with great engravings on the both sides.
