habaki: Silver single Habaki
The blade was polished.
Blade length :68.0cm or 26.77inches.
Sori :2.2cm or 0.86inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.0cm or 1.18inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2cm or 0.86inches.
Kasane :0.9cm or 0.35inches.
The weight of the sword: 650grams
Era : The late Kamakura period
Shape : The blade is broad and thick with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Well-shaped.
Bohi on the both sides.
Jigane : Shirake-ish Utsuri. Elaborate and fine Jigane.
Hamon :Suguhadeki, bright Hamon for Enju. Boshi is big and round, turns back
beautifully.

Special feature: Higo Enju school is founded by the grandchild from Rai Kuniyuki’s　daughter married into another family,Taro Kunimura, and flourished from the late　Kamakura period to Nambokucho period in Kikuchi village. Many famous swordsmiths
came out of the school, like Kiyoshi, Kunitoki, Kuniyasu, Kunitomo, Kunisada, Kuninobu　and Kunitsuna. Their characteristics are similar to the ones of Rai school: Kitae is
Masagokoro with Shirake Utsuri. Nioikuchi of Jiba is slightly sinking. This work has bright　and beautiful Hamon for Enju.

Koshirae : Higo Koshirae with Toppei-ish red Saya
Tsuba: Mokko-shaped iron Tsuba. There are round engravings.
Fuchi: Shakudo-Nanako plate. Chrysanthemum is engraved with gold color.
Kashira: Shakudo-plate, grapes are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Toppei-ish red Saya with iron Kojiri.

From Aoi Art: This work has rounded Sori and slightly higher Shinogi, and Boshi turns back shallowly. This work shows the true characteristics of Enju school, so the　judgement should be correct. This work has softer atmosphere among them, we truly
recommend this one to you. Koshirae is also nice with Toppei-ish red painted Saya.
