Era : Around the Tenbun era, the Muromachi period.
Shape : Ubu-Mumei with one Mekugi hole. The blade has slightly deep Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane : Koitamehada is very dense. Almost plain but it has Ohada. Shirake-Utsuri is lightly visible.
Hamon : Nioideki-ish Suguha. Boshi is big with deep Nioikuchi. It becomes like Yakizume.

Special feature: The 2nd, Izumi Kami Kanesada, is the most famous among Kanesada swordsmiths,
and we have more later generations after him. This work was made by the later generation and has typical
Yasurime that looks like hawk feather. We think it is the 3rd generation, although NBTHK never mentions
about the generation. The blade is a little bit dark, but it has to be very sharp.
It has some Ohada part, but it is really attractive.

From Aoi Art: This sword had survived hard times of wars in the Muromachi period. Ubu-Nakago
with only 1 Mekugi hole and elegant Sori. We can truly recommend this to you.
It seems very sharp and it succeeds to the tradition of Kanesada and Kanemoto, the representative of Mino swords.
