The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length:66.2cm or 26.06inches.
Sori:1.1cm or 0.43inches.

Width at the Kissaki:2.47cm or 0.97inches.
Kasane:0.65cm or 0.25inches.

Era: Ansei 6, the Edo period.
Shape: The blade is broad and thick with adequate Sori and big and longer Kissaki. Well-shaped.
Jigane: Koitamehada is grained well with Jinie. Beautiful Jigane.
Hamon: Deep Nioikuchi, Gunomemidare, Sakasa-Choji becomes Midare. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work between Hamon. Boshi is Midarekomi.

Special feature: Suishinshi Masatsugu is a pull of Naotane school, and was close to Kawabe family. He passed away on the 11st of March, Manen 1. His style is very similar to Naotane.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Mokko shape iron Tsuba with brass inlay.
Fuchikashira: Iron Japanese white radish is engraved.
Menuki: Dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Dark brown Ishime-Ji Saya.

From Aoi Art: This work is very similar to the Bizenden work of Taikei Naotane. Nioikuchi is deep and well-made.
