This sword belongs to jyo jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length: 70.6 cm or 27.79 inches.
Sori:1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki:1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Kasane: 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
The weight of the sword: 920grams.
Era: Late Edo period around Genji 2.
Shape: Regular width and thickness, Mitsumune style Katana with small Sori and longer Kissaki. This is a copy of Koto blade.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon: Nie Deki, shallow Gunome Midare with many Ashi.

Special Feature: Fujiwara Korekazu is a nephew of Chounsai Tsunatoshi, and was originally called Shotaro and succeeded to the 7th Musashi Daijo. He passed away on the 24th of November, Meiji 24 at the age of 75. The first Korekazu had tried to trace Chojimidare of Ichimonji school, so he also tried very hard in his early years, but later he made many Soshuden works and left great pieces to this world.
