Shape : The blade is normally wide and thick, has Bo-hi on the both sides, Sori is slightly

Jigane :Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon :Niedeki, Gunome-midare, slightly Shimari-gokoro, Boshi turns back round.

Special feature:Ho-ki Kami Nobuteru is a sword smith group of several generations, and this is supposed to be a piece by the late Nobuteru.

Koshirae :Higo Koshirae
Tsuba:Oval iron Tsuba, patterns are engraved with openwork. Made in te mid Edo
period. Great iron taste. NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Paper.
Fuchikashira:Iron plate, patterns are engraved.
Saya :Dark brown Ishime-ji Saya.
Menuki : Catfish is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art:Ho-ki Kami Nobuteru which succeeded to the tradition of Ho-ki Kami Nobutaka lasted several generations. This work is supposed to be a piece from the late generations. Koshirae is Higo Koshirae and the blade has Bo-hi and light enough to be a good Iai sword or sword for appreciation. It is also polished well and we truly recommend this for you.
